Excitement is guaranteed whether you're racing in our Family Fun Sessions which are set to the same speed as indoor kart circuits or for those with a little more confidence our un-restricted Family Race Sessions in our unique class leading 270cc, 45mph Sodi Race karts really get the adrenaline pumping.

Family Fun Sessions
Fun Go Karting For Families
These Family Fun Sessions are run on karts that are electronically restricted to the speeds you would experience at an indoor kart circuit.
These sessions are a perfect introduction to karting for people who have not driven a kart before.
Speeds are restricted to allow drivers the time to learn how to drive both the go-kart and the circuit. It is a safe family environment to learn go-kart driving.
If you and your family members have never driven karts before or are still a little apprehensive then we recommend this session first.

Family Race Sessions
Race Go Karting For Families
These Family Only Race Sessions are strictly for families of experienced racers with children under the age of 14. We do not mix adult groups with children unless they are family members and we only ever mix family groups with other family groups.
These kart sessions are run at full throttle on our 200/270cc Race Karts. They are fast and participants should expect overtaking in a race style environment.
Family Race Session karts can reach speeds of up to 45mph - way faster and much more exciting than indoor karting!

All open timed practice sessions are fully marshalled and are 30 minutes of tracktime. They include your racewear, full NKA Safety briefing including a short video and electronic laptime printouts to see how quick you are.
These time-trial sessions are perfect for individuals or groups wanting to battle it out on our 825m International Circuit.

WHAT IF I AM UNDER 8 YEARS OLD?
GO-KARTING IN THE FUN KART CLUB EXCLUSIVELY FOR BAMBINOS.
We haven't forgotten the younger drivers - come and try our Bambino Karts.
Bambino Karts are designed specifically for drivers aged 6 & 7.
Bambinos drive in a controlled environment at our "Fun Kart Club".
All Bambino Karts have a laptime transponder fitted, just like all the larger karts and more importantly an electronic shutdown transponder enabling remote speed control.
Fun Kart Club uses the full international circuit and is run at various times during the week.

WHAT HAPPENS ON A FAMILY KARTING DAY?
Following a comprehensive video safety briefing you and your family will take to the track for your driving session. Have fun, but stay safe!
Once completed you will receive your personalised printout for your session, detailing all your lap times, with a breakdown of the fastest lap and average speed.
These sessions are available in 30 minute slots and are suitable for drivers 8 years and over.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR A FAMILY KARTING SESSION.
Customers are advised to wear comfortable clothing and trainer type shoes. Open-toe shoes and high heels will result in customers being refused entry to the circuit. We advise all drivers to arrive at least 45 minutes before your stated drive time. Drivers will need to be at least 153cm in height (122cms for cadets) and have an inside leg length of at least 60cm.
Scarves and neck-wear must be removed before driving.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ABOUT GO KARTING FOR FAMILIES
When should I arrive at the circuit?
You will be given an arrival time when booking. For events this will be 1hr before your track time, for practice, 45 minutes beforehand. Please ensure you are not late as if you arrive after this time even by 5 minutes this may affect your time on the circuit. If you are more than 10/15 minutes late you may lose your slot altogether. If you are late, you will not receive a refund under any circumstance.
Is there adequate car parking?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking for all.
Do I need a driving licence/special licence to race?
No, we have many regular customers who hold no licence at all. We provide full instruction and all drivers must attend a safety briefing and view the NKA (National Karting Association) safety video briefing.
